Renae and Vitaliy also had a day-after session. Originally it was going to be a day-before, but I suggested that it’s less stressful after the wedding because you don’t have to worry about getting the dress dirty. The tuxes had been returned, so Vitaliy wore a traditional embroidered shirt he had been gifted the night before.

The weather got complicated. We took advantage of that.

There’s this thing called “Trash the Dress”. Apparently standard practice is to take the bride out of the dress before putting it into the trash can.

Oops.

Totally Renae’s suggestion, beer bottle too!

Spring Spectacular, ASME

Yes, finally the followup to the single image posted before, Water balloon bursting.

For Spring Spectacular, student engineering societies from the Cockrell School of Engineering hosted a public outreach fair for Austin-area children.

ASME’s booth had kids build a structure to protect a water balloon from bursting after a drop.

Real Ale had its 15th anniversary open house. Fun times. Got a Fireman’s #4 pint glass. Thanks to Brittany, I’m trying to embrace the bottom half of the frame, on the way to bottom third of the frame.
